Baturyn Neighbourhood Information
This neighbourhood received its name after a Ukrainian castle The Citadel of the Baturyn Fortress which served as a Polish outpost. The neighbourhood is centred around Baturyn Park which is home to Baturyn School, St. Charles Elementary School, and Baturyn Hall.
The Baturyn Community League offers a number of community programs for neighborhood residents as well as the Community Hall and hall rentals.
Baturyn was recently selected to participate in a neighbourhood renewal program which includes updates to the residential roads, street lights, sidewalks, and adding missing sidewalk links. Also included is alley renewal which will include an assessment of existing utilities. Residents will be invited to provide feedback and guidance throughout the program.
